i usually try to chat with funny people cause they are very nice but it doesn't always work out(some parties have plain serious people)

depends on the situation. if it was all serious id simply amuse myself in my head thinking funny things about the stuck up people :o)
but at most parties i would even be going to - u can always find interesting people to talk to! i love going to parties where i dont really know people - or going with friends but then splitting up so u can all make new friends and have a great time

Just chat your way around the party and introduce yourself to different groups. You will find someone that you have something in common with so you can chat away and you will meet lots of new people that you will know next time.

Either bring a friend, or just make friends there...if you were invited, you obviously have one friend...and they usually dont invite someone if the majority of the people there dont like him or her.....
and what party are you going to with serious people!?!?!
that might get boring if there all serious.... =/

I would keep moving around talking to different people, listening to conversations, until I found people I thought were particularly interesting and stay with them until they no longer filled the bill, then move on once again.

plus i'm the kinda of person who would get drunk and do something stupid...my friends tell me that...online tests tell me that...and the voices in my head tell me that. i'm not old enough to drink thankfuly^_^'
