Acting Help?

ok I really wanna act I'm 15 and wanna act on a show like degrassi or something on the N

Me and my bro were in a few commericals when we were little nothing big though.. and nothing else since.. I'm starting to get back in acting but can someone tell me how I would actually get on a tv show like degrassi or on the n or any other show...

If you are interested in an acting career, you have a couple of things going for you - and the first of these is prior experience. The second is youth. You have time to take some acting lessons and to learn your craft. Meanwhile, use any connections you can muster up to find out where and when auditions are going on - and audition for everything that comes up. If you land a few gigs on the way to your destination, they'll all help fill out your resume,and show the range of characters you can play.

one you get an agent and a manager you should start by trying out for small parts, like plays and comercials. once you have some good experiance points to put on your portfolio tell your agent what you want so he can comunicate with the casting directors. meanwhile you can look for shows that are casting (use the net thats what its there for).

Well it's very good you have prior experience.But there is no miracle to get you on the show.You have to look for auditions or send a letter or tape to the show's headquarters.Try that.Who know's? We might see you on the show next! :)

the only way to actually get on tv is if you have an acting agent u should get one if your really serious about it and if u do u dont have to worry bout landing a gig thats their job.

You would have to have an agent. But you wouldn't get to pick what shows, you would start by taking whatever you could get.
