You've spent more time and energy asking this question than it would take to do three of these questions. You can almost do it in your head. And on your next test, you'll have to figure it out on your own. The key phrase is "how many colories per minute."

well, you know how many calories he burned so you have R90 = 387. from what i'm seeing, the weight of the skater is irrelevant. work backwards. if R x 90 = 387, then you can divide to find R. hope i helped, and good luck!

the 120 pounds is not useful, it is used to confuse!

387 calories per 90 minutes
387r=90
387/90=r/m
4.3 calories per minute

pretty easy for us, but since ur only a 5th grader here's the equation to make it clearer for you to understand:

Bc = RM
387 = 90R
4.3 = R*
Note: To get R all you need to do is divide Bc by M.

where:
Bc = calories burned
R= rate in cal per minute
M= time in minutes

r divided by m

387 divided by 90
