Abercrombie clothes are so thin because they have little children working for a few cents a day making these clothes, and are given poor materials to work with.

1.) In 2003, the abercrombie near my house was sued and shutdown. Why? The people working there would not allow an african amercian girl to work at a cash register because they needed to portray an 'Amercian' look.

2.) Abercrombie uses child labor, incase you don't know already, it's illegal, and they only pay children a few cents an hour.

3.) Some of their T-shirts have had rascist slogans.I am just so against racism, and all abercrombie is doing is promoting it.

3.) Abercrombie was selling thongs in Abercrombie Kids. That is so unappropriate.
4.) Mike Jefferies, the CEO of abercrombie, has said along these lines, that if you are fat, this store is not for you. Being shut out of a store just because of a persons weight must make them feel horrible.

Abercrombie is a racist and unfair store.

This was back in 2003 when they had thongs in an ABERCROMBIE store in Chicago.

But they still use child labor and have racist policies.

Also, I like to dress trendy myself, but I am into European fashion and only a little American fashion.

I hope to be a clothes designer that is not racist against any size, color, or religon! And have a company that does not use child labor. Also have quality clothes that is more affordable!! So then everyone can dress great!

Ok, so i no that the cheap child labor is wrong and everything, but i dont think ive seen racist comments! I mea, they have black models, and my friend works there, and there's 3 black people who work there, but most black people dont wear those types of clothes bcz they're in2 a more ghetto look, but there's about a 5% of black people who do, and nobody @ my school has a problem w/ it, and i only no 2 people who dont own any clothes from there. And i dont think anybody listens 2 da whole fat thing, i mean its true the clothes look better if ur not like obese, but i think if u can fit in2 them bcz they can run small, u look Ah-mazing! Oh yah, and the kid thongs, there like 4 specail occasions not 2 show pany lines, i dont see anything wrong w/ them, but also 4 timy girls who are older and cant fit in2 regular sometimes buy those

I worked there for about 2 months and hated every minute of it. The people that shop there and work there are all the same. They think they are so great because they wear abercrombie, or they are so hot because they get to work there. Sorry, I'm with you, I would rather spend the money on a true designer name than spend it on cheap clothes that fall apart after just one wash. I love european fashion. It ticks me off to see these little girls running around in skirts that are too short and tops that are too low. They are slutty looking, not preppy looking.

And you're right about the lawsuit, I recieved papers in the mail asking for a statement about whether or not the store I worked at was racist in anyway. I had quit before I got the papers, but I laughed when I got them. They need to be put down. Kids don't need to dress like that. And I remember the abercrombie kid's stores selling thongs. I have some thongs from Abercrombie and Fitch so I know they sell them still, but abercrombie kids doesn't anymore.

And little miss I love Starbucks up there.... I hope you know that one medium sized starbucks drink has roughly 300 calories... Which Im sure goes along with your healthy lifestyle... Keep on drinking them and you won't be able to shop there either.

im sorry but i do not believe that is all true !!! alot of stores are racist so why are you saying that about just abercrombie ?? also alot of stores use child labor and you dont know it. there are NO racist slogans on t-shirts ?!!!?! alot of stores sell thongs that are for kids. that isnt a bad thing. abercrombie is made for people who are at a healthy weight, not for skinny people. how did you find this out ??? i am not gonna stop shopping there just because of what you think is true.

I doubt some of these things are true. The stores sizes run small, much like many clothing stores, maybe the just dont have the material to make clothes for all sizes.

Well after getting this link posted into my question, I read
it and immediately contacted Abercrombie. They said it was fictional. I did not believe it in the first place, If it would have happened, it would have been world news. Abercrombie is a big american/UK shop. It may be higher then other stores, but its good quality and well worth the money, and no one makes you shop there. So there's really no need to complain. As far as the sizes go, I am average sized... about 170..and I do wear abercrombie size M-L shirts and I do got a booty..and some thighs and can fit into a size 12 in jeans. Alot of designers clothes run small.. but there's no need to be jealous and complain and tell lies on a store. That should be illegal unless you have documented proof. I love abercrombie, and im not going to stop unless I find that it is true. I am with a black guy and do not like racists slogans, but never have I once seen a racist slogan anywhere in/on abercrombie or there website. And as far as racism goes with designers, Tommy Hilfiger sit on the Oprah show and told that if he new any minorities (blacks, gays..etc) was going to wear his product then he would have never made them..and where im from.. the minorities are his best customer, or was.. because the department stores around here did not want to promote racism..and quit selling his products. Now people grow up.. its ficitonal and is not true and childish of people to tell lies because they cannot fit into a pair of jeans.. go to American Eagle..Or Aeropostale or Baby Phat.. or some designer that sells plus size jeans..

the reason why they were sued is because they sold thongs to girls. on the thong was the words wink wink and cute.

Wow, I don't think I'm going to shop there anymore...Not that I ever really like the clothes. I'm an average sized girl and I couldn't even fit in a large, when I normally wear size small in places like AEO or Wet Seal!

I don't shop there myself, but I won't start. That is wrong. Even if
bigger people don't look good in their clothes that doesn't mean they have to anounce it. I hate people like that!
