have you started solids yet? This may help. Limit nap time during the day and increase on the food. Also, read "Baby Wise". A great book to help with those sleep problems. Good luck! It will get better :)

By 6 months its very possible for baby to keep waking up for a feeding.. But not every 3 hours for sure..

Sounds to me like it's a habit.. When he wakes up, put him back to sleep without a bottle - whatever it takes.. If that doesnt work, make less amount bottles and reduce it every other night or so.. Some people also put water in baby's bottle at night.

Of course there's the cry it out method, but who wants to be up the WHOLe night listening to a crying baby!.. So just take a deep breath and figure out your plan and stick to it.. Something like... skipping the 1st feeding of the night one week.. next week skip the 2nd.. so on.

You have to be persistant with whatever you do for your baby to understand your goal.. If you give in one time, he'll just get confused and frustrated.. Good Luck =]

don't let him sleep too much during the day or take long naps.
i would wake my son up if he would sleep more than an hour and i would play with him a lot before bedtime to make him more willing to sleep

NyQuil (just kidding)

Try feeding him a little more a meal times so that he will not get hungry as soon.
