Good ways to keep cool in the hot school?

Any suggestions for keeping cooler in school, it is 95 degrees outside and cooler than inside in the classrooms. I have been bringing an iced water bottle, any other good suggestions?

Not much you can do in school, my school is hot too..All I do is go to the bathroom to splash cool water on my face and dab my neck with a wet papertowel

Iced water bottle is a good way to keep cool.

When it is hot, wear light colors becuz they reflect light better.

Also, its good to splash cold water on your face every now and then.

Usually, schools have some rooms that are a/c. In my school, its the library. Find out if there are any.

Bring a washcloth or small towel and poor some of the water on it and keep it around your neck. That should help some. I remember those hot days in school. They were miserable!

I think you have the right idea. Just put the water bottle in the freezer the night before and it should last you at least until lunch. Hmm maybe two bottles :-) put this bottle in your backpack wedged up against you back. (maybe wrap in a light wash towel) We live in Florida and the schools are air conditioned. Sometimes you have to bring a jacket to stay warm in class. LOL

Also, wear light colored, loose cotton clothing, do not eat a lot of food high in protein, which increases metabolic heat and drink plenty of fluids. Water, juice, etc.
