I have big boobs (god knows I've tried to make them appear smaller) and work in an office with men and women. I find it quite offensive when I notice I am talking to a man and he is looking straight at my boobs. It's really embarrassing for me also as I have protuding nipples most of the time as the bras I have to wear do not come "padded" If I see a guy with what appears to be a large c***, I just look and look away quickly.

It's been brought to my attention that I have posted this on the wrong section. It was not intentional - S O R R Y. Also I never wear low tops as they drawn even more attention to by breasts.

Men in this section don't typically look at womens breast.

But that does suck to be in that situation. Say something next time. make him feel just as uncomfortable as you do.

Some men stare because they are sad lecherous types but what you have to bear in mind is that most 'normal' men are programmed by nature to find breasts(not necessarily big ones) attractive. If a man is looking at you it is really a compliment although I can understand your reservations about being stared at. Perhaps you could take individuals aside and explain politely to them that you do not appreciate being stared at. If that fails you might take the matter up with your company's Human Resources Dept. Explain the situation to them stressing that you do not necessarily want disciplinary action taken against the individuals but that you want someone to talk to them at an official level. This may jolt the individuals out of their behaviour.

No offense but it's probably just human nature, like staring at Tammy Faye Bakker, Yao Ming or the Elephant Man. Now, before I get a LOT of thumbs down on this reply, let me explain that I am NOT saying you look like any of these people. It's just that we as humans tend to be fascinated to that which is unusual or out of the ordinary. The same goes for (most of) us gay guys when we see another guy with an enormously huge member. Plus there's also that "men think about sex every 20 seconds" thing.

However, I agree with most of the other posters in here that if it's an office setting, your male co-workers should try a little harder to look you in the eyes. You may want to casually ask "Uh, can you speak to ME and not to my breasts, please? Thank you."

Society seems bent on sending allot of mixed signals. Every where I go I see sex being promoted or sold. From the girly books on the front of the shelf in the variety to the larger than life bra bill boards that are placed conveniantly in the midle of the malls. (At least in canada where I live). Then turn on your tv and see increasing amounts of skin on your favourite television shows and comercials. Step outside and guess what many of the gals are wearing less and willingly showing more. Then some poor shmuck gets the foolish notion( from God knows where) that women desire this sort of attention and he gets labelled the pervert. That being said I am sorry that you are put in this akward position but try and realize women have helped create this. I should also add one place worked if the guys said and did some of the stuff the girls said did we would have been dismissed or facing criminal charges. I am not making these comments to be sexist but merely to show men are not the cause of all problems so save some of your anger for the women who promote these attitudes.

Because they are stupid. Some people are actually good at looking at boobs without getting noticed. But strait men scientifically are drawn to breast. There are very good guys that look, but they don't make it that obivous. It isn't a respect thing. You should just tell them up here, like the other chick said, that will stop them.

Why do women gripe about men in this section? Is that not irrefutable proof that lesbians only become so because they find men distasteful? Another fact I have uncovered, God I'm smart...

What you have to learn is that men have no prejudices or hang-ups about sex, and do not need an emotional reason to do it. You find it offensive that someone you barely know is eyeing your breasts vociferously, if it were the other way around, men would be flattered and well up for it. I can only recommend you try to divert attention away by accentuating another bodily feature, perhaps a prosthetic nose will do the trick.

Be thankful you are at least getting some response. There are loads of women and men who would love to have someone pay them that much attention, although it is very sexist and not too professional at the office. I would say to him....you were saying....and lift your hands from your breasts up to your eyes, that way it cannot be misconstrued. I find the same with women, although I am gay, they are always looking at my crotch when they speak..but I guess that's what pheromones and sexual attraction is all about. I basically ignore it.

A. Because they are sexually attracted to them and wish to look at them

B. Some women (I use the term 'some') get offended if a man were not to look at their breasts. I am gay and have met a number of girls (pretty girls or breasty or both) who get annoyed if they don't receive the attention they desire and don't feel attractive, and walk off to gather some unspoken flattery elsewhere.
Therefore some men may feel they are actually being polite in what they believe is flattery , without having to say a word.

I think it is simply lack of respect for you and themselves. They either think that you don't notice or don't care that you do. They probably see your or your boobs as some kind of top shelf fantasy come true and see no reason to hide that. It is really sad and as a man I feel really embarressed that there are men who still think that way. Unfortunately it'll always be that way. Just be proud of who you are and stuff them!

They are men that is why and the bigger the boobs the more fascinating they are to some, I must admit that I can't help staring at times but I catch myself and make sure to look back up. To sum it up, I guess some guys have a constant sexual desire and look for things to halp dim or increase that desire

Dear Sue

As you have a problem that matches my own, although I think I am slightly smaller busted than you are (34D) and a guy continually has a conversation with my bust, I put my finger under his chin every time his eyes stray and bring his face upwards until we are speaking to each other eye to eye. Either than or I have a conversation with his trouser zipper. God it takes loads of guts and it's not easy but it works especially if you talk to his zip with your head to one side and then change your head to the opposite side. This tells him that you have the same amount of (dis)respect for him as he does for you! Good luck
