Quotes and Lines from Because of Winn-Dixie?

I'm doing a talent audition and we need to have a 30 second monologue. I'd like to read a part from Winn Dixie. I'd like the line to be almost a paragraph... like where Opal is explaining something in the book, something deep. Can someone give me the lines? Thanks!

Go to your school library. That was a Newberry Award wining book. Your school just might have it. I'm sure you can find something in the book, since it was the basis for the movie.
