A very low chance. My HCG levels were at 1392 at 4 weeks 6 days with this pregnancy, and the least sensitive test only needs your levels to be at 100.

Very possible. I didn't get a positive on an HPT until I was 26 days late. My friend didn't get a positive reading until she was 3 months along. Some people on here will tell you to go get a blood test. My doctor didn't want me to come in until I had a positive pregnancy test or I was missing my period for 2 months. Keep testing, and make sure you test in the morning. Also, sometimes the most expensive tests are not the best, I got a positive with two tests from the dollartree and a negative with a First Response HPT. I hope you get the answer on the HPT that you want!

It is very likely to get false pregnancy tests. When I was 3 months pregnant I took four pregnancy tests by four different brands. In my opinion, the best thing to do is go to the doctor and get blood work. The blood work will tell you if you are pregnant and how far along you are. If a doctor is out the question, the best pregnancy tests are Equate at Wal-Mart and Clear Blue Easy Digital. They both gave me positives and were correct! Good Luck!:)

its not very likely at all, however it does happen. I know some people who kept getting negative hpt's untill they were 6 or 7 months along.
Good Luck!

By 4 weeks your body should have plenty of the hormone in it that these tests detect. If you are getting a negative result, it is highly unlikely you are pregnant.
Keep in mind that if you think you are pregnant just because you skipped a period, there are many other medical reasons for skipping a period. If you are usually regular and skipped a period recently, please make an appointment with your GYN so he/she can make sure all is well with you :)

Highly likely unless the HPT guarantees results within this time.

How many did you take? Sometimes you can get some that are broken and they are wrong. I took one a few weeks after I found out I was pregnant with my son and it took forever to turn positive! As long as you have a confirmation from a doctor you have nothing to worry about!

Highly unlikely unless the HPT is defective or you are wrong about your cycle and if/when you actually conceived.
