Mount Union is a heck of a good answer.. but not quite.. 1 team has been more dominant but was completely off the radar before 2001 when they showed up seriously and has only lost I think 3 or 4 games in 5 years

the question really isn't about # of games won.. it's about titles.. and since GVSU has 4 of the last 5.. I'd pretty much call that domination.. they OWN Div 2 and those 3 losses in 2004 are it.. otherwise they've won out the rest of the time.. 92.0% win rate between '01 and '05 and undefeated in '06.. which is about 95% wins this decade with as I said 4 of 5 national titles..

How would you say it's not Mount Union? GVSU is good, but Mount Union has lost a grand total of 3 games since 2000, by a total of 28 points (St. John's in the 2003 title game, Mary Hardin-Baylor in the 2004 semis, and Ohio Northern during the 2005 season).
You stated since 2000, and Mount Union has been more dominant, with 5 national titles in that era. Grand Valley lost three games in 2004 alone (Saginaw Valley and Northwood in the regular season, and North Dakota in the quarterfinals) along with a loss to Saginaw Valley in 2003, which is 4 losses in 5 years, whereas Mount Union has 3 in 7 years.

Probably the USC Trojans since they have won 5 straight bowl games. 3 of the were Rose Bowl's and 2 Orange Bowl's. They participated in the Las Vegas Bowl in 2001, but lost to Utah. They've also won 2 national championships in since 2000. I don't believe any other team has done that in the last 7 years. But what everyone doesnt know is that they went 5-7 in 2000, and 6-6 in 2001. After that they've won 11 or more games every season. Also, they went undefeated one of those season, with a record of 13-0.

Everyone saying Boise State, lets be honest here. They play in the WAC. Everybody always rags on the SEC for playing a weak non-conference schedule. Boise State plays weak teams all year. And don't just point to that one bowl game last year. You have to beat more then one impressive team to be considered "dominant" and they only won it with a few Pop Warner trick plays. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say LSU, simply because they dominate every year, but lose one or two on a strong conference game.

Boise St. They have the best record but hasnt been able to play in the national championship. Last year proved how good they are.
