i was wondering why people down south are so against labor unions or any type of unions

i dont see how an orgatanation that protects its members from being taking adavantage by big buissnuess is not need today. Also keeping well paying jobs for american citizens creating a larger middle class. please free feel to point out any falsehoods in my logic

Labor unions are very damaging to our economy and society. Perhaps those in the south are more aware of that than others.

labor unions have outlived their usefullness
in the days of child labor and other conditions the unions actually helped their members. study the history of the teamsters union and you will understand. labor unions of today are gatherers of members' $s and lobby for socialist
causes with that money. more ppl in the South believe that one should take care of oneself/family thereby creating a stronger society. socialism weakens the individual
