i am going to watch apollo 13 at school and i want to know a little about it like if its boring or anything. is there any really good parts?? would a girl like it?? thanks for answering!!

Yes a girl will like it i am a girl and its very good and really makes you feel appreciative of all they went through as well as the family and the whole country. I think you will enjoy it.

its one of if not the most accurately made documentary movies ever.
Jim Lovel came to my town same day it came out on video and said that he and others that lived through it only could find 3 things wrong with the whole movie and none of them were vital parts.
Also if you know this storyline very much, watch for two charectors.
At the launch you will see Mariyln Lovel (jim's wife) entering the viewing stands. Watch for a lady in the row in front of her with very large sunglasses. That is the real Marylin Lovel
At the end of the movie, When they get on the aircraft carrier, as Tom Hanks talks about the people involved you see him and a officer in white unfiform salute each other and then talk as everyone gathers around.
That is Jim Lovel talking to Tom Hanks.

In my opinion the Apollo 13 mission was made into an awesome movie... all the way through, and being the true story that it is, it shows how dedicated NASA was to protect their men. Also how the whole Unites States was affected. It was a great moment in our history and not a boring one. Trust me, you will like it.

It's a well-done drama, very enjoyable, and to me anything with Ed Harris in it has at least one thing watchable (that being Ed).
In many ways Apollo was the greatest technological achievement in human history so far. We sent 21 men out to the moon, 12 walked on it, and (and this is a critical point) we brought every one of them safely back to Earth. The Apollo 13 crew had the roughest time of it. It's the ultimate crisis-driven teamwork film by virtue of being a true story.

To me, it was boring, it took me like five times before I finally saw the whole movie through without leaving out of boredom. My dad loves it though, so I think it is more of a guy movie. It is about astrounauts and space. Hopefully you will like it:)

Yes I am sure you will like it. When watching keep in mind this really happened. A girl definitely would like it. It has suspense , unique characters and is very full of emotions. There are funny moments and tramatic moments. I am sure your whole class will really enjoy this one.

You should just watch the movie instead of asking about it in my opinion but yes the movie is very very good. My favorite part of the movie is when Hanks says "Men, what are your intentions?" my favorite line in the movie.
