my boyfriend and i are planning for my Birthday(sept 17th) we will make love for the first time.

we havent done it before, what should we know/do to make it wonderful and right?

please keep the negative comments to your self. we made this choice, i am looking for nice advice on positions, ideas, smart choices, and ideas to make it wonderful.

well, i have to say- since you've committed to that path- and let me tell you, so many of us wish we could go back in time and rethink our first time. I mean- it is usually in the back of some cramped car or on some nasty mattress or just not fun or even that we didn't want to do it at all and were forced into it! I do applaud you for seeking advice.

On that note- The first thing is location/time. are you having to hide this from your parents(I sure hope not) if that's the case, i would say, it's time to b e upfront with them and tell them. If not this will be a little bit harder.

I would save up some money for a nice hotel with a jacuzzi tub in it. (Sounds like your under 21, so don't do anything with alcohol- i mean, you want to remember your first time, right? besides, guys have a hard time keeping it up after drinking- they want sex, but even if they can, it will be just enough for them so that they can get there "cookie" and go to sleep.)

I would take 2 days off. ( one for the night "OF" and the day after. you should not have an cell phones or anything like that bothering you. you should go and purchase some personal lube= KY- not the stuff with sugar in it- if you have sex with sugar, you will get nasty infections.... The lube might come in handy if your natural jucies aren't flowing- but you can both drink LOTS of water, and that should solve that!

You should have some sexy under clothes, and your protection on hand- lots of them, in fact, i reccommend being on birth control. for some time- if not, get educated about VCF creams and stuff- and of course condoms are a good choice just make sure that the lubes say that they are compatable with condoms. You might not want to worry with the crazy ribbed for her the very first time. No worries your first about babies is very important! Relax, do plenty of foreplay and go slow. Make sure you are ready before he tries to penetrate you. Have him go slowly until you are used to it, then he can speed up. Usually the best position for the first time is regular missionary. After that you can have fun experimenting. And of course, use a condom every time, the entire time.

Wouldn't it more romantic for him to propose to you instead of him taking your virginity? Anyway, for you, make sure he goes slow. You may need some lubricant because the wetter/more lubed you are, the less painful it will be. Use protection....I assume you're not on birth control so he needs to wear a condom. That's about it really....use protection, go slow and make sure you're well lubricated. Oh, and relax. The more tense you are, the more painful it will be, too.

Relax and don't put any pressure on him. The first time is usually stressful and not always as exciting or pleasure able as you thought it would be. As far as positions just figure it out that is part of the experience.

I wouldn't get too creative the first time. Please be aware that you are going to feel as though you have been riding a horse for three days on the 18th. The best way to enjoy is to give up all your inhibitions and just enjoy each other. Also, remember it does not have to be perfect to be enjoyable.
