My husbands best friend, is always at our house, he comes by after he gets off work, eats dinner and leaves around 9 pm when we retire for the evening, on Friday nights he generally stays all night and the remainder of the weekend leaving on Sunday. I don't mind him there occassionally but it is getting old and he does not get the hint that we need some quality family time.

I would definitely talk to my husband about his presence being a annoyance and I'd just tell him straight out that you want to be able to spend time with your family not him. He's not apart of your DNA, why can't you be able to breathe in your own home without feeling uncomfortable? Tell him gently he needs to ease up on his visits and get on your husband about it. Sometimes you just have to be blunt so they get the message. Good luck and I hope you can work it out!

I would tell him exactly that. Tell him that he is a good friend and you value his company occassionally but you and your family need quality time to yourselves. What does your husband say about it? Have you talked to him about your concerns? If it was me, I'd be pretty irritated and if your husband isnt going to talk to him about it, then you will.

I would personally tell him to go somewhere else for a while, but Im not your husband. my fiance would probally tell him to leave or somehow show him that its pissing her off. mabey what you could do is, start making plans for the weekend and have your husband tell him. that way it dont look like your kicking him out just that you guys are doing the couple thing. and that means COUPLE like you two. not you two and him. try that and if it dont work then your screwed.

this is not good for a number of reasons...spending time alone with your husband is very important...do you have any single friends who would be interested in dating him? he needs to get a life for himself and respect your relationship with your hubby...by the way...what does hubby think about this? tell him you like his friend ...but not all the time...he'll never say anything unless you talk to him about it. good luck

tell his butt to leave the house and that you and your man need some time alone or you could hook him up with one of your friends so maybe he can go over her house and bugg the mess out of her if that doesn't work then i dont know what to tell you other than kick his a$$ out

Answer the door naked (for your husband) and your hubby will give him the boot when he shows up.
