In many of the towns the beaches are free but the parking for non-residents is outrageously expensive (or expensive plus far from the beach).

The state was smart enough to require access by the towns but not smart enough to regulate parking to make the access reasonable.

Like Rich mentioned, a lot of beaches charge very high prices for parking. You could go up to Salisbury Beach, which is nice, but you'd definitely need to pay to park.

Revere beach, but that area is kinda rift raft. Salisbury beach is nice too! They got all these cool arcade places outside of the beach, but Salisbury is I think the crappiest town in Massachusetts! I usuall go to Wall of Sands In new Hampshire, and we go back b going through Salisbur, and let me tell you, it is depressing!

crane beach will charge you $15 to park, but it is worth it, because it is a beautiful beach. revere beach outside of boston is free, but it's gross. sailsbury beach is nice, it was a resort town with an amusement park back in the day but the park was torn down. there are beaches in manchester-by-the-sea and beverly that are nice, but i'm not sure of their names.
