i think the only good pop punk band is the descendants... i dont think the ramones are pop punk at all, they're pre-punk...
whatever they all overlap
god it makes me sick to my stomach when people say, "No pop-punk is blink 182 and green day" uggghhh.... psh also when people spell rock like 'rawk' oi vey...

Bands like The Buzzcocks or The Soviettes are more pop/punk but both The Ramones and especially The Clash got a little more poppy towards the end of their careers!!! As far as Green Day, Blink 182, etc, they were defintely NOT punk but more pop/punk!!

i'm more a fan of Hardcore punk like Strike Anywhere and Rise Against, but i like the Clash alott. and everybody likes the Ramones.

I don't consider those bands to be pop-punk, just plain old punk. Pop punk is like Green Day, Blink 182, and Sum 41. My feelings on those three are well known.

sorry but thats not pop punk. pop punk is that "rock" **** pple listen to now a days like Greenday, Blink-182, Weezer, Fall out boy, Sum 41, Paramore, MCR and so on. and yes i like old school punk.

sorry.. those arent pop punk.... pop punk are bands like blink 182 or greenday etc... ramones/clast etc. are punk/prepunk
