I read the police report...he was charged with invasion of privacy and disorderly conduct...he pled guilty to disorderly conduct and the rest was dropped...the whole thing reads funny...if it was a sting operation then where is the video?
Make no mistake..if he is guilty then he needs to go...but his guilt of the lewd behavior needs to be proven not just speculated on.

Senator Craig seemed way too knowledgeable about the implications of the actions he took in the airport restroom. Had I been accused of the same thing, I would have no idea of the significance of the hand under the stall move. Craig seemed to deny that he did that right away.
I also have some doubts about the fact that he claims to have "accidentally touched" the feet of a man in the next stall. I don't know about anyone else, but I use public stalls only as a last resort and never get too relaxed when conducting my business there. Accidently touching toes with another man in the stall next to me does not seem to be possible.

I didn't have a clue about the whole foot thing myself. But I ran into a guy in the men's restroom today who suggested we have bumper stickers up in certain parts of the restrooms that read "For Members of Congress" or something like that.
I'm a Republican but that's just funny. Larry Craig plead guilty didn't he?

I went to the movies with my father and afterwards went to use the bathroom stall, while I was in there the guy in the stall next to mine moved his shoe over and nudged mine. I said, "You're barking up the wrong tree, Dude." Turns out it was my Dad. He guffawed and teased me.
If it had been a real sexual advance instead of a practical joke, it would not have bothered me one bit. Who cares? Shame on the police, shame on the US Senate, shame on the media and shame on us for making a mountain out of a molehill.
All the problems we have in this world and we're obsessed with this poor public servant's kinks. Our collective voyeurism is the real perversion.

First of all, the man in the stall next to him who he looked at thru the crack in the door "WAS A POLICEMAN" .... that man recognized immediately that Craig was trying to make a homosexual contact by his actions. And he arrested Craig.
So, yes, given all that, I think in this instance I would believe the Policeman. Generally, I tend to doubt police until there is truly convincing evidence. But this one seems pretty credible.
The policeman in the bathroom stall found the actions of Craig to be despicable, and told him so when he arrested him.

he PLEADED GUILTY!
when you make a plea like this part of the implied language is that you are NOT contesting the police report.
people are talking like there is some sort of speculation going on here - wrong.
not one word of this is speculation - most of it reads directly from a police report on a crime that has a confession and has been adjucated.
the guy pleaded guilty - end of story.
but let me know the next time he has a press conference - pass the popcorn.
lately the repubs are funnier than southpark...

The police--they have nothing to lose. Sen. Craig should resign, and the public and press should keep the pressure on for him to do so. Then, when he does, the same pressure should be brought on Ted Kennedy. Killing a girl and running away is a lot worse than trolling for pervs in a men's room.
