The whole thing is political. Craig had a conservative voting record even though he is a queer. If he had been a liberal out of the closet queer like Barney Fag.... uh ..Frank, every thing would be OK. I mean Edward Kennedy can drive drunk and kill a woman at Chappaquiddick and nothing happens. Patrick Kennedy can get arrested for driving under the influence of cocane and there are no calls for his resignation. Craig should have just admitted he was a queer that liked to do the dirty with strangers on the commode and all would have been fine.

I don't think Senator Craig's sexuality is any of my business. I would prefer not to hear about it.
There are gay conservatives out there. They have a right to their opinions. As a Senator, Craig has a responsibility to vote according to his constituencies values - values that might not necessarily be his own.
I have to ask...do the airport police have nothing better to do than try to catch consenting adults meeting one another in a public restroom? I have a hard time imagining that the airport was hosting gay orgies in the bathrooms.
I'm a liberal and I don't care how consenting adults meet or who they want to sleep with.

Jeez, seems like the Democrats are retracting. Back in January, you were all for a "bi-partisan effort." Back to your dirty tricks?
You people always speak out against racism, corruption, predjuce, and other issues, but when it comes to being stereotypical and generalizing a political party, you guys really do well!
By the way, I love your double standard. Whenever a liberal does something stupid, you don't see us being hypocritical and making a scandal, do you? Well, I mean, unless your president rapes women in the Oval Office.
