Because they think gun law reform is an infringement on the second amendment, the only amendment they are willing to defend.
If crazy people can't get guns, crazy people can't kill!!!
Conservatives would rather everybody goes to school packing heat. YEAH REAL GOOD IDEA.
Cho bought his guns LEGALLY.

Your statement is amazing! Why didn't the women who stated he was harrassing them press charges? Should we blame them for the situation? What about the judge that could have admitted him to the hospital (which would have stopped him getting a gun legally)? What about the roommate who knew he was talking about suicide and did nothing? What about the campus police who investigated him?
There were many times along the way he could have been stopped but wasn't. People are so into themselves and their world that people like Cho fall thru the cracks.
Do I want people like Cho to have a gun? No, but that does not mean we need new laws, what law would have stopped him? Waiting for a gun? Well, he already had one.

What makes you think conservatives want people like "Cho" to have guns?
I call it like I see it and banning guns will not end crime. Crime has existed long before guns. If "Cho" didn't get a gun through legal means, then he would have possibly gotten a gun through illegal means, or make bombs.
Murder is a crime, but people still do it. People are stabbed, should knives be banned? People are strangled with rope, should rope be banned?
While I detest the Archie Bunker mentality, I have to say that I agree with this philosophy.
Gloria: Do you know that sixty percent of all deaths in America are caused by guns?
Archie Bunker: Would it make you feel any better, little girl, if they was pushed out of windows?

Conservatives don't want people like Cho to have guns. However, people like Cho will always find a way to get guns, regardless of the law. Stricter regulations won't have much of an impact.

Conservatives don't. If current gun laws were enforced, he would not have had one.
If the university had kept an eye on Cho, since things were clearly in his record, then the whole thing would not have happened. He was unstable. If he didn't have a pistol, he would have done it with a bomb or a car or something else.

Right to bear arms with regulations. Blame the university, his parents and the state for not sharing info that Cho had mental problems and should not have been able to buy a gun. You don't get to ban guns just because of idots like CHO

For some reason, they believe that all Americans, sane or insane, competent or incompetent, suspected terrorist or actual terrorist should be able to have guns. Why? Because over two hundred years ago, our Forefathers were worried that our own government could possibly become tyrannical or our country could be invaded and taken over, so they thought it was good to include a provision that allowed Americans the right to bear arms. However, they could NEVER have imagined automatic weapons in the hands of ordinary citizens. Automatic weapons serve one purpose, KILLING OTHER HUMANS! Our police and military should be the only ones who have guns. The US has enough military power where we don't have to worry about another country invading and trying to take over and anyone who would try to overthrow tne government with whatever weapons they may have would have do be insane. We need ZERO tolerance gun control and we need it NOW. If we take the guns out of the hands of our citizens, and secure our borders, we can keep them off of our streets and make America safer!

Conservatives don't want him to have guns. I suggest abolishing the bans on guns in campuses but make it more difficult to get a concealed carry permit. That way, we can be more assured that the people with handguns are responsible enough to have them. Suppose there was a student or teacher in the building that had a CCW permit. The whole situation could have been avoided.

Why do Liberals not realize that gun laws didn't stop Cho in the first place?
The gun laws, which forbade firearms on campus, not only didn't stop Cho, they prevented anyone from being able to return fire.
Gun laws not only didn't save those kids, gun laws may be responsible for escalating the body count.
