Documentary on tribe?

Question

It was about Christain missionaries coming upon a tribe in Africa (maybe?) and trying to spread the word and end up being killed by the tribe, and then the family of the missionaries end up becoming friends with the tribe and forgiving them, etc, etc?

i could have some details wrong, and if im not mistaken there is a documentary and then a real movie about what happened.

There was one called "End of the Spear". It came out in January of 2006.

It is on DVD and amazon.com has it.
