Why do you think teen girls get pregnant soo early?

Everyone I graduated grammar school with has children...some even rite after freshman year. I mean...I'm happy for them..but they keep asking me when I'm gonna have kids.." I'm like wtf??...I'm not ready 4 dat ****!!!!!!!why do u think people feel like a baby is the coolest accesorries??

The main cause is lack of education about morals and values of life. These morals are found in education about faith and spirituality, which is exactly why people who are raised in Christian homes are far less likely to become teenage parents. These morals were taught in public schools a long time ago, not just in private schools like now (Catholic, Christian, etc) and were taught well at that. More teenagers were waiting for marriage for even having sex, let alone having kids. Nowadays sex education in public schools is focused on contraceptives rather than abstinence. Alot of teenagers dont understand that you just should not be having sex.
As far as the accessory side of having a baby, this falls back on the morals. Of course teenage girls love babies, its completely normal. It DOES NOT mean they should go and have a baby just because they want one. If they had those morals, they would be taking jobs as nannies or babysitters so they can feel like a mom and get to take care of a cute little baby. And what happens when babies go out of style and are no longer accessories? The teenagers parents end up having to raise the child until the teenagers have grown up somewhat themselves, but by then the baby is a school-aged child.

Unfortunately it does have to do with parents, society, and your environment. It goes like this, parents work alot to provide and are not around or some just do not care. Then one girl has a sleepover and ends up pregnant. She has a baby and others see it as well if she can do it, then so can I. The problem is that looks can be deceiving. Sure babies are cute for a while but they cost money and grow up, sometimes not always so nice. After a while more and more girls just get pregnant to keep up with the trend only to regret it later. You continue to wait until you are married and financially able to support that baby. Babies should be made out of love not as something to cross off your to do list. Enjoy your youth and have fun (safe fun).

The reason there are so many teen pregnancies is because no one is taking the time to educate them and if they are being educated, they aren't listening. Having a baby is far from being the coolest accessory.

Congrats that you don't have any children and you don't want any. I feel sorry for those girls. They are not finish having kids!

Cause Brittney and Nichole have one why can't they...lol? You know I think it really is that either they don't care or just don't know enough about how many STD's etc that could be picked up. Not to mention a child could also receive from the mother an STD.

Bottom line is you are smart, get a life of your own first before you are responsible for another!

Because they have false dreams of what having children is, I mean I too had kids out of high school, and I love them dearly, but it was hard as heck. No man took care of me as I sat at home in lush house with my white picket fence. I had to work hard to support them, and I still work hard. I have been working since I was 17, non stop.

And sex will not keep a man, which some women actually think. Take it from me. I married a Marine because I was pregnant, and he left me not too long after.

Everybody thinks it is because of bad parenting well I am a 14 year old mom and I dont think it is the coolest accessories because it is hard work. But never once do I regret it. Like me alot of teen girls dont plan a baby. Especially as young as me but that is just my opinion.

To me many teen girls are getting pregnant so early because they are opening their legs and having unprotected sex. I don't think babies are the coolest accessories, but to me they are a blessing and you will understand one day if you do choose to have kids, when the time comes. People today seem more lonely and hopeless than they did in the past, largely due to the internet and technology isolating everyone.
I think girls are afraid to be alone and they fear they may never succeed or find happiness, so they have sex and a child early on.

Let's face it, some of it has to do with religious nuts preaching abstinence and not enough sex-education.

Also, the black guys they are screwing can't seem to pull out in time.

well I think its part parenting, part personal lack of needing love, and part hormones. You have to remember way back in the day kids were married off at 14 years old and started having family and kids. Girls do get their period around that time so for me it make sense. I dont condone it of course but I think what our bodies was originally built for has changed but the education of life and sex has not been properly presented to younger children.

i honestly think that happens because in this day and age people dosent talk to there children and teach them right from wrong, i hope if i accomplish anything in my life it is to learn my children to stay in school, stay out of trouble, dont get serious with anyone until your out of school and have a life and a plan for the future, our children only do what either they see or what we let them, if you dont teach them right there gonna do as they please, you gotta stay involved in there life and keep track of what there into, alot of parents today think well hey there almost grown time to have my life and thats not how it goes there allways our children they need guidence growing up as much as they did when they were small. hope this helped alittle, have a great weekend!
