I live in K-town!!

I love it here.

My mom actually works at UT.

However, it doesn't snow as much as it would in say Colorado or Utah. We get flurries, sleet, and some snow. It is so beautiful with the mountains and all.

I would advise you go there!!

We live in Knoxville and have for the last 4 years. No significant snowfall in that time. But within an hour's drive you can be in the mountains and in the snow. Sometimes it's kinda nice not having to shovel snow or go to classes walking on ice. I like being able to enjoy it when I want to. Maybe you'll hear from a student at UT who'll tell you more.
All I can say is that it is very beautiful in this part of the world.

Lol I thought you meant UT as in Texas.....it does snow there at times but it is very rare so I would guess you would have a fair chance of getting snow in Knoxville...

When you get an urge for more winter-like weather, drive a little further east. There are ski resorts in Gatlinburg AND it's a fun place to hang out.
