How would you tell that they were flipping you off if they have no fingers?

I flip my hubby off a lot and I don't use fingers... I just say "Whatever" to him... that is the equivalent to flipping him off, in his mind.

I'd probably think he was waving at me.
So I'd throw my hand up in the air and walk towards him with a huge grin on my face,thinking he thought I was a friend or something.
