Won't happen, but yeah, it is fun to talk about it. I was pretty close to posting it up myself after I read it. It would be cool though to have the MAP line. lol

Just another Forsberg rumor formulated strictly under the hypothesis of the Swede to Swede communication and persuasion theory...Yawn... I am so sick of this Forsberg crap. In Vancouver, I hear about this stuff every single day about Peter and Markus are buddies and how Markus is trying to persuade him to come to Vancouver. I'd say this has been going on for about 4 years now, but never once has there been one shred of evidence from Markus, Peter, or other reliable source that Forsberg has ever come close to signing with, or being traded to the Canucks.
Now Mats is also trying to sway him over...why not throw in Thomas and Nicklas in...Forsberg to the Red Wings!!! Anyways, Forsberg won't come for less than 4 million; he is nuts if he thinks he can go to the Laffs for 1.5 or so and they'll win the cup together and candy will fall out of the sky for all the poor homeless people and sick kids who will be cured forever.

If Forsberg goes to the Leafs than hell would of frozen over 4 times. He said hes probably going to one of his three former teams. The Predators, The Avalanche, or the Flyers.

Leafs have no room to add anyone without first dealing away someone so you can dream but I will stay in the real world. He'll sign by Monday and don't be surprised if it's Vancouver.
LOL 2 CME - that JFJ is almost as good a quote as Yogi Berra

Nooobody could have said it better than JFJ, a quote, "As he says: "Our team has the necessary depth, but our players would have to show improvement in two areas -- offence and reduce the goals against statistics"
Yeah, thats the ticket, we'd win if we improve in only 2 areas, offense and defense.
Funny stuff.

Now this makes sense.
The leafs have the distinction of getting players that are no longer in their prime, pay them big bucks, then watch helplessly as they get injured or have a bust of a year.
Long live the Maple Laffs.
