I love baseball and always will. But it's this absolutely ridiculous bickering between the fans that is really starting to get to me. I know we have a rivalry and everything that comes from it, but shut the hell up. I'm a Red Sox fan, but I have problems with both fans. Bragging, showing off, rubbing it in, basically childish behavior, is just immature. If the Red Sox swept, they would be doing the same damn thing. It's just stupid. If it was all in good fun, then fine. But it's all done with that ever so popular human trait of arrogance and just plain ol' boasting. Enough is enough. Thanks fans for ruining the season for me with your childish antics. Yankees this, Red Sox that. Give it a rest.
To Mary, your comment of the only team in baseball is the Yankees is very typical of arrogant Yankee fans and New Yorkers in general. Any wonder why people can't stand you guys. And no, it's not jealousy as New Yorkers always come back with.
Also to badmotherrucker, again, same thing. Yes you've won (bought) 26 championships, but enough with the past. As someone stated before, stop living in the past. Those 26 championships, though impressive, have nothing to do with right now. You see, I would congratulate the Yankees for winning, but you typical Yankee (New York) fans prevent me from doing that. I respect the Yankees. I don't respect Yankee fans.

I dont think you should stoop to the Red Sox fans. If you are a Yankee lover, have class like the rest of us. Hype up the Yankees and leave the rest alone. Besides the only team in baseball is the YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

badmotherrucker - Here's a number for you to chew on...2007! That 26 means nothing to me....stop living in the past...the teams that won those World Series for you aren't playing this year and have nothing to do with this year...as for the division lead getting smaller...well it was down to 4 so I am pretty happy...5 games is a pretty good lead. I am sure you would be happy if the Yankees were up 5 games right now.
