How do you become a model if your just starting out and know nothing? Like what places do you go to? How big of a portfolio do you have to have? do you have to be like a size -5 to be a model now days?

Send in your pictures to modeling agencies or go to some open calls at the agencies. Do some research about the agencies before you go.....haha and no you dont have to be a size -5... oh dear i hope not O__o

New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and Chicago. Those are the major hubs for modelling. There are models which are size 10 and under and there are plus size models which are anything over size 10. You have to have atleast a dozen pictures and then you get an agent. Sometimes if you get an agent and then get the pics that works too. Make sure you have a good lawyer when signing contracts with the agencies!

Wilhemina Model Management
You must meet certain height and weight requirements.

The sole qualification is to be among the less than one percent of the population that has the right look for modeling. Also to live someplace where you can actually find work.
