Where can I find a MP3 Player that will be a good price (but not to much) That u can use the lighter thingy (in the car) to hook it up and listen to it? I dont know much about MP3 Players but I'm getting it for my husband to be for a wedding gift since i can think of anything else that he would like thats not over $200 but the MP3 player doesnt have to be that high end stuff in MB....I was just looking at the 2 MB and he could just change the songs when he wants. So if u guys have any ideas on the car lighter thing and how that works please let me know and where i could look to get one and what kind of brand is the best! (P.S. Im getting the lighter thing cuz hes radio keeps getting stolen and i think this would be better cuz he can listen to songs he likes!) Well let me know.....Thanks Everyone!

I prefer the ipod simply because it is popular and therefore there are a lot of accessories for it. The cigarette lighter thingy is just to power the mp3 player but most mp3 players come with built in rechargeable batteries, you can buy a car charger/cigarette lighter thingy but it isn't necessary to use the mp3 player. Since your husband's car doesn't have a stereo in it he will have to listen to the mp3 player with the ear buds so that might be a safety concern. Also if there is anyone else in the car they won't be able to hear it unless he gets a pair of speakers for it. There are tons to choose from but as far as the player itself I would go with either an ipod nano, microsoft zune, or a creative zen. The zen and zune come with fm tuners too so if he wants to listen to the radio he can. Go to http://electronics.pricegrabber.com/mp3-players/p/161 They have all the choices you could ever ask for.

with 200 dollars you can get an IPOD. but.. it doesn't look like you are looking for anything high tech and any convenient mp3 player will do. if you're looking for cheap there are many non brand names you can get at a frys or any electronic store or even a target or walmart that is less that 50 dollars. it would get the job done and you can buy an adapter to play it in the car. but then again since this is a wedding gift.. less than 50 dollars is not that much. i would recommend the ipod nano, its up there but its tottally worth it. he can use it if he goes to the gym or on break or lunch.

with all those options you just have to weigh it out and see which one is the most worth it.

i would get the sansa e200 series. they have the BEST mp3 players. two great ones are sansa e250 mp3 player and the sansa e260 mp3 player. The e250 mp3 player is 2 gig and has radio and you can add songs and record the radio. The e260 is 4 gig and you can record the radio, listen to the radio, add songs, and best of all watch videos!!
the e260 is definitely by far the best mp3 player!! and its only $109. 00 at circuit city! you and all the other people who want a mp3 player for portable music should get this ! people say you should get an ipod but ipods are sooo exspensive when it doesn't even compare to the sansa e260.

i hope i helped

Here's what I'd get if I was you, if you copy and paste the product name on Ebay, you can find it even cheaper.

Mp3 player: http://sg.store.creative.com/products/product.aspx?catid=213&pid=15306

As far as the FM transmitter (to play music through the radio; the lighter thingy), you can buy a number of them for under $30, just do a seatch on google and make sure its compatible with whatever mp3 player you decide to purchase.

In my opinion, Creative sounds better than Apple and is a lot cheaper.

You can find a ton of reviews on mp3 players and accessories on www.cnet.com

Good luck

CD gamers i'm not waiting for an ipod or mp3 participant yet... perhaps whilst i'm forty in the event that they don't look to be old with the aid of then (i'm 29). I even have had my digicam for 3 years and there remains in all probability a gaggle of stuff i don't understand the thank you to do with it yet. Texting, making telephone calls, and shooting is extremely lots all i'm able to do with my cellular telephone. i don't desire to circulate with the aid of all the situation of downloading songs just to hearken to them every time everywhere without the skipping or scratching.

about that "lighter thingy" ... it broadcasts the music via FM radio. So, if as you say, the radio keeps getting stolen then the "lighter thingy" wont work.
