I've read some things about this theory on the web, but now I'm curious about your personal opinion/thoughts on that. Are there real arguments for that or is it only a startler story of some people who wanted to be famous by inventing that? What do you think?

no, it is a silly idea, easily disproven. To have "fabricated" three centuries would have required a concerted effort by a variety of governments, chroniclers and religious leaders in three rival "empires", working together for no discernable purpose.

Aside from that, dendochronology leaves no space for a three-century gap.
