I hate my job, and I have to leave in 25 minutes, why does time fly so fast at home, why does it fly by so fast?

I have so many things to do, but I never get a chance because of work.

I just want to go to heaven right now, and leave this world forever.

Time is flying by as I type. I hate going to work, I hate it, why does time fly by so fast at home, but at work it goes by slow.

I hear you!

Time flies when you're having fun. Time drags when the fun is done.

I hate my job too. It's becoming slightly more tolerable lately now that a rather disturbing element has been removed, but it's still the opposite of anything creative or beautiful or enjoyable.

So either you quit or you learn to live with it.

I feel your pain.

You wouldn't believe the mickey mouse show of an organization I work for and the things that go on there...oh well. It pays the mortgage...

I won't be there forever.

Don't lose hope. Heaven can wait.

:)

You've answered your own question.

When you're doing something you hate, time passes very slowly because you are acutely aware of the time.

Otherwise, time seems to fly when you're enjoying yourself because your not focusing on the time, but doing what you enjoy.

Too many people feel the way you do about work. That's sad. Have you tried looking for something more fulfilling?

When you learn to manage impatience, work will not seem as horrific.

However, in the same way that you convinced yourself that you hate your job you can convince yourself that you love your job. Your suffering through time is an issue of perception. Change your perception and time will fly by.

I would advise finding a new job immediately. If it's as bad as wanting to die, you really need to look for employment elsewhere. Try thinking of things you're grateful for instead of being so negative. Get your mind off it - otherwise you'll never be satisfied.

It's because your not doing what you want to do. Your on someone else's time and agenda most of the time you work with people you dont like, and would rather not be around.

so it seems as though times takes it's time to make your life 1. miserable

Best Wishes!!

You are bored and you are perceiving time as "changing" when it is, in fact, constant.

It may have to do with your focus on actual "boredom," itself.

If one TRULY lives in the present moment, they do not so easily become bored and one may rarely perceive time as slowing or even speeding up. It just is what it is.

Because when you are having fun you do not pay attention to the time but when you are bored you stare at the clock.
