Yes he is very much alive at age 76 and has just done two films. The first is a theatre movie called "The Better Man" and that will be out in Febuary of 2008. The other is a cartoon for TV called "The Magic 7" He will be the voice of "5 Toe" That will not be on TV untill December of 2008.
He is working on a project now about space that will not be seen untill 2009.

Yes he is. He just did a voice over for a movie coming out soon. I don't remember the name of it but I know for a fact that he is still alive. He has a wonderful voice, I love to hear him talk
