My husband told me that he wants to divorce me... We live in different states... and he is active duty in the Air Force. He let me know that he has no intention of me joining him where he is at. I also cannot get in touch with him. He will not answer my phone calls and has made no attempt to contact me. Therefore I am left in the dark as to what actions he has taken to start this divorce that HE wants. I dont know much about his job.. therefore I am not sure how to contact his chain of command to ensure that he is doing things the right way. I am not expecting him to support me, but we have been married for a month and he has done nothing to aid me. He was the one that wanted to get married, and now he says he isnt willing to work... that he doesnt even want to try. I am left to live with my parents. I refuse to file for the divorce... if he wants it.. he should file and pay for it also. Am I supposed to wait for weeks for him to finally contact me?

I am completely in love with this man and do not want the divorce. We are both young I my fear is that he is having a "freak out" and will regret this. He is all alone at his duty station.. and the only people around him are young, single airmen... my fear is that because that is all he has around him... that he is getting advice from people who dont understand the repurcutions of a divorce. I told me that he is still in love with me.. I fear that he is waiting on this and will not answer my calls because this is something that he is doubting he truly wants.

I am very sorry about the spelling and grammar mistakes.. I am very flustered..
There is a sentence that was supposed to read... He told me he is still in love with me... which he has... he told me that he is happy with me... and that the love he has for me outways our "problems".. which is that we dont argue constructivley... yet he is trying to jump ship.
