As I understand it Switzerland has the highest gun registry per household.

In 1994, when the U.S. Congress debated whether to ban "assault weapons," a talk show host asked then-Senator Bill Bradley (New Jersey), a sponsor of the ban, whether guns cause crime. The host noted that, in Switzerland, all males are issued assault rifles for militia service and keep them at home, yet little crime exists there.

It is not the gun that is dangerous, it is usually the idiot holding it!

We problay do but 90% of our people do not own guns. About 40% do and they own , multiple guns and or have collections that can be in the huindreads therefore inflating the census.

Those stats are junk. Most gun owners own many guns. The percentage of armed individuals is much lower than 90%.

well, as for the western nations it probably is. but hey, whats to expect with that vastly outdated amendment in the constitution that promotes a kind of cowboy mentality.

guns should only be carried by police and military, we have no other place in a civilised society for guns.
