Oddly my first advice to you would be stop looking at the stuff, but I regress...

Unless you dump everything in IE out you can still see what was accessed in search bars and filled out forms. Even browsers like Mozilla/FireFox and Opera can store these form datas and you can still get busted. Believe me. Been there done that, but I broke my habit.

Otherwise just behave yourself on the internet and learn to not look at porn for gratification. rememebr your wife can love you back. The pictures and the movies can't.

Using the browser "clear" functions doesn't necessarily remove all traces, especially if you are using Internet Explorer. If you are downloading files, videos for example, you'll have a "Recent Documents" entry to worry about too. You can also run a file recovery application that will look at the disk at a level below the file system to find files. Your parents could also have increased logging enabled on the computer or even at the router level to track sites visited.

One of two things could be happening.

1) She has a monitoring tool. You won't see it, you won't know it's there, it runs in the background and you won't even find it in task manager or see it in the administrative history logs

2) If you are hooked up to a wireless router, she will see ALL your history in the log files. It will record everything you do without you knowing. Some regular routers do the same.

It's probably one of the following

1. The site contains spyware that downloads porn to your system

2. You didn't delete your history

3. Your step-mom is finding the cookies from the sites you visited in the temporary internet files folder.

If your step-mom is even 10% computer literate, she can still find out the sites that you have viewed. All it takes is a small free program to decode your index.dat files.

Even if you delete cookies and history.

You children only THINK you are smart, us adults are smarter :-)

That stuff never totally goes away. And Moms have uncanny ability to sniff out things their kids try to hide.
