Which do you consider to be lower class if at all?

Renting a 2 bedroom apartment or owning a 3bedroom 2 bath trailer with a couple acres of land?

Neither. The bigger issue is how you live your life in either of them. If you maintain them in a way that shows that you care about your home and keep them clean and as well maintained as you can, nobody should be critical of your choices. Owning a couple of acres of land with a trailer can be a great way to lead to a future of building a house on that land when you can afford to do so, or to build equity to buy a home some time in the future. In the meantime, pride of ownership or pride of property on the rental will show that you are anything but lower class.

( depending on the quality of the apt or if the trailer is on a couple of acres of desert ! )

Not enough details , but if the land is viable , you are ahead with it because you can build a house on it .

Neither has anything to do with "class". True class is carrying yourself with dignity and integrity, regardless of your material possessions. As for housing, choose the one that works for your situation.
