Enjoyer. I've been watching since 2005, but wish I'd started a long time ago. Everything I've seen from ECW and WWF looked like gold. The WCW stuff up until about 1996 did, too. I don't think I'd have liked the nWo. I'm like a "wrestling nerd". I've read:

I'm also starting to follow ROH, TNA, CMLL, PW NOAH, and CZW. They've each got something individule to attract fans.

well i think I'm a hardcore wrestling fan even though i have only been watching it for about 13 to 14 years not just wwe but also ecw wcw new japan wrestling and tna' aaa nwa ROH ring of honer. i seen it all i have bout wwe tape's and DVDs from why back in the 1980 .and down loaded episode's i think i know just as much as a fan that's been watching it for 20 years!!!

I've been watching since i was 4 years old thanks to growing up with an older brother who was obsessed with Hulk hogan. I'm only 23. So I'm not quite old school yet....but I consider myself to be one.
And as for you...... From experience, people's favorite wrestler is usually a wrestler in the generation they first got into wrestling. Since your favorite wrestler is Sting (in the old garb no less) by definition, you must be a Hardcore Fan but just a few years shy (or maybe even similar to my case whee your real close to it) of the twenty year mark and being considered old school.

I'm a hardcore fan, but I look up matches from back in the day, my favorite classic wrestlers are Ric Flair, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Harley Race, Roddy Piper, and Jimmy Snuka.
