a woman claimed she didnt know she was pregnant and gave birth in the mcdonalds bathroom she worked at, then tried to flush the baby (she was 32wks...incase you dont know you're pregnant for 40wks and you can usually feel the baby moving around 20wks) .....should she be charged with a crime? if not attempted homocide, atleast child abuse of some form! the baby was alive and well when born, and i dont believe for one second she didn't know she was pregnant! as a mother of 2 at a certain point in time you KNOW....you can clearly feel a fetus moving inside of you. and even if she truely did not know....what makes you think you can FLUSH a child down a toilet?

i too wonder how she was not screaming, and to deliver in 15 minutes even if she was in labor all day....jeez i was immobile from pain all day! i'm assuming he was small for her to even think he might fit down the toilet....but no i dont believe she should have aborted...thats murder to me too... but when she had him she should have taken him and dropped him at a safe place (ie fire dept, ER) ...almost all states allow it prosecution free... not sure if hers does but still...thats better than treating him like a goldfish,

it doesnt matter is she knew it or not...she should have never tried to flush the baby...i read the story yesterday on foxnews.com....it was hard to read...i am very glad that the baby survived though!

Oh that is disgusting!
I have 3 babies and by the 2nd week i knew, by 14 weeks i felt all 3, cuorse, eevryone is different but, yes at some point, you KNOW you're pregnant.
And how on earth did she deliver quietly.
I was screaming bloody murder with my 3 labors! I had no medication so i know it hurts like a son b*tch!
And to flush that baby, wtf, she she be done with attempted murder, neglegence and abuse!
I bet she thought she could away with it, the baby being tiny and all but when it didn't "flush" i bet she though "oh sh*t"
I hope she gets her compupance and the state removes that baby from her, by the sounds of her she'd kill it in it's sleep anyway!
Here's an idea:
If you don't want a baby and you find you're pregnant, abort it, before you try to murder it at birth or after!!

She should definitly be charged. I am 11 weeks Pregnant and started getting symptoms at about 4 to 5 weeks. You just know you are pregnant. Come one 32 weeks, no period for how long and you eat more....Their are so many clues, she knew she just didnt want the baby. Then she tried to flush the baby...Why? She obviously did not want it and tried to kill the baby. I hope the baby survives and she goes to jail..

My god! She needs help of some kind
It is entirely possible she did not know, my mother was 6 months gone with her 1st and still on fertility treatment before she knew!
However she would have seen it there before she tried to flush it but may have been in extreme shock and panicked!
How awful.

Denial can cause some pretty odd behavior even to convince oneself the truth is not so. She needs serious mental help because she may not understand what she did or why she did it. perhaps the child is from a trauma or she is mentally challenged - there is more to this story than we are led to at the first glance.

Are you kidding me? You know you are pregnant way before you feel the baby move, our body gives us way too many signs that tell us, she knew, and was just in denial. A toilet??? unless she was handicap in some way would I ever give her any grace, but you know she will be judged, by the law then by God. What happened to the baby?

I think that was her excuse to try and avoid prosecution!! She should be prosecuted to the fullest, because carrying a baby that long....YEAH you WOULD know it!! And she didnt have to try and flush it, she could have used alternatives!! People these days just disgust me!!
