does anyone know absolute dos and donts of playing with a ouija board? Does it have to be the wooden one or can it be paper? what about protection prayers? or how to tell if its an evil spirit or good? anything and everything you know would be helpful.

I have tried it a few times, and each time we made it ourselves using paper for the letters, and a glass for the pointer. That way, we could break the glass after each use and burn the letters. Apparantly that ensured that the spirits we contacted couldn't stay around.

I have been told that you should leave out the letter "m", and we always did so. We never really had any problems.

You are not meant to do it if you have any cuts at all.

The spirit you call up is as powerful as all the people who call it up together, and no more powerful. So in order to keep it under control, everyone should stay until you have finished.

We once had a spirit who asked us to open the window, and then to open the door of the room we were in. It then said "i'm in", which was a bit scary, but nothing bad happened. Just be careful of doing anything they ask.

Whatever you do, don't go in thinking this is just a game, and that someone is bound to be pushing the glass. We tested it when we were doing it, each person taking a turn to lay a finger on the glass, while everyone else laid their finger on that person's hand. The glass still moved. So whether it is some manifestation of telekinesis, of mass hysteria, or of contact with the spirits, be careful. There is o point calling potential trouble on yourself.

the only thing I can tell you is be VERY careful.

Demons can only enter a residence if it is invited. SOOOO, if something starts asking YOU questions, DONT answer it. Under any circumstances. If it asks you "can I come out and play" or anything similar, say NO. Do not, DO NOT, invite anything into your house.

Normally the wooden ones are the best. The ones you can buy are also functional but not as good as real wooden ones with a metal pointer (good conductor of electricity)

DO NOT play in cemetaries, or places you know or believe to be infected with negative energy. It only invites trouble. Whatever is there, is already THERE and the negative energy from the Ouija will only make it stronger, aggitate it and cause it to react.

Light candles adoned in lavendar oil on each corner (the 4 corners, north south east west) This calls to positive earth energy.

DO, use common sense. Ouija is not a toy, and it can have very bad consequences. Trust me. I know!

It's not the board they enter it's the people around it.Spirits are not always good and not always bad. However in doing this you are opening a portal of sorts and asking spirits to enter you and the others so if you get one you don't like and it won't leave, you might start wondering why it was so important to contact the spirits in the first place.I always tell people get a book on magick before doing anything even if the board came from K-Mart.Because the spirits don't care what your medium is just that it's there and they're gonna try to use it.Good Luck

If you buy a real ouija board they are indestructible and full of restless spirits. I would stay away. Don't mess with them. My friends and I had some pretty dramatic experiences with them and let's just say be safe rather than sorry.

Stay away of Ouija board in any form, because you can also do this with a normal piece of paper figures and a glass upside down.
Don't mess with it it's very power full if you don't know how to do it.

Ouija boards are games. Nothing more, nothing less. They're paper and plastic and cardboard, and if you think that lets them be infested with demons, then you sure as heck better stay away from any pizza that someone delivers to your door, because that's basically the same thing. (Yes, including the plastic, if you order from some of the chains. They're that bad!!)

Instead of praying to some supernatural god, treat it as a toy, and have a good time. I can guarantee that if you're not trying to steer the pointer, someone else is. To find out, deliberately try to steer the pointer to an answer, and watch who gets frustrated or angry.

If you want to learn about the subject without having to sort through a lot of anonymous answers by strangers, about whom you know nothing, including whether they know anything, there's a way to learn.

The reading list below can act as a source for you. Most of the titles can be found in your local library. If they don't have them they can borrow them from another library.

DON'T take it seriously. It's a board, a game, nothing more. You can't summon things you can't have evil infest some plastic and cardboard with ink on it, made in Taiwan. Anyone tells you different, they're complete clowns.
