I have not read the book, but even if you don't have your book you can answer this question. Think about her character. What was she like? What sorts of things did she do? Was she a nice person? A mean person? A stuck up person? Then begin to write about her, describing some of the things she did that would make readers dislike her. Good luck with it. I am sure you can do this and do well with it.

Anaxandra often beseeches the deity that gives name to the book: 'the goddess of yesterday', but who this figure actually is and how she fits into the pantheon of Greek gods remains unknown. The same complaint lies with the use of Medusa as a "good-luck charm", and did anyone else think that Anaxandra's romance with Euneas was a little abrupt? One horse ride and she's in love?

The only thing I didn't like about Alexandra in The Goddess of Yesterday was the method she chose throughout the book. In place of choosing truth she chose to live in lies and deciet. Although her reasons behind the choices she made might have been admirable, the methods are questionable. I can't help but wonder if there might have been a more ethical way to save her firend and herself.

She was full of strength- even though in those days- it was looked down upon by men.
