if you wanted it in terms of 1 variable it would be:

0.10x + 2.5x > 30

where x is the # of dimes (2.5 dimes is 1 quarter)

0.10*D + 0.25*Q >= 30.00

where D is the number of dimes and Q is the number of quarters
