I have had 2 very different labours .. the first i was induced so therefor i had the antiboitics i needed. The second was so quick i never got them risking my baby .thats y im very worried and would like an induction . Do u think if i ask my consultant he will understand and let me have one

They might let you opt to be induced or they may give you instructions to go to the hospital earlier than usually indicated, my doctor admitted me when I was only 3 cm dilated so I was able to get three bags of antibiotics in. Make sure you fully explain your concerns and the details of the previous labors (if this is not the doc who attended them) Good Luck :)

if you have a history of fast labors then it may be a good idea to be induced a week early or so. The last thing you want is to give birht in the car on the way to the hospital, especally if you are GBS+

yes,i lost a baby inutero to strep at 36 weeks.tell them your concerns and they will induce early(38weeks).im getting induced next week as i cannot carry on anymore!.
i have been told that baby gets the antibiotics if you dont,so dont worry if you can!.
