Don't get things for 3+ -- usually they are rated that because the pieces are too little, and will cause choking because kids under age 3 put everything in their mouths.
When my girls were 2, they loved Fisher Price Little People toys, ride on toys, Dora stuff, plastic tea set. (In fact, the plastic tea set has become my favorite gift for 2-year-olds.)

I know a lot of toddler girls who just love baby dolls with soft bodies. You know, the kind with eyes that open and shut. Also, when I was 2 I remember I had a little toy piano that I loved so much! It was very noisy though. One more thought- girls that age are just starting to have fun with dress-up, so maybe you should get her some fun "princess" dresses and little pretend dress-up shoes with sparkle on them. They have that stuff at Toys R Us.

dolls, babies, barbies without the small accessories so she doesn't put them in her mouth. stuffed animals, things that light up or make noise. if its 3+ toys it should be fine because she will be 3 next year.Little ones like anything.

A baby doll is good, you could even get a little stroller to go with the doll.

My daughter was playing with dolls, there are some soft bodied ones with yarn hair that she would drag around the house.

mam, usually a 2 years old girl/boy play with those toys that are hanged above their crib, those thing that move around and make some musical sounds (mostly called as mobile toys)
They play with soft toys, they tend to chew them so there teeth are strong !
To see the toys click on this link http://www.mothercare.com/gp/node/n/42874041/203-4839154-1286346?ie=UTF8&mcb=core
Hope that helps !
