It comes out on our anniversary...good present or not?

I should have mentioned that he is a CRAZY gamer. He will basically play anything. Gamertag "vojak" ... I just want to get him something he will like.

While I'm also a gamer, I have to wonder about the wisdom of giving your hubby a game for your anniversary.
If both of you were gamers, then at least you could play together, but if you don't play games, you're giving him something that he'll be playing without you...on your anniversary. Well, OK, I'm sure he'd be able to resist playing so he could spend the day with you, but he'll still be thinking about the game.

If your significant other is an avid video gamer or a Halo fan, then this would make a great anniversary present. However, if he's not a fan of the game, then maybe a gift that relates to his interests would be better. Congrats on the anniversary & good luck finding a present!

If this is a proper marriage anniversary, then no. Choose something more permanent.
If this is more of a 'going out for two years, isn't this great' anniversary, then maybe. Even then it depends on how little you care to see your gamer boyfriend.
If he's serious about his games, music, and such he probably already has plans to go right out and buy it.
If you want something gamer-related, chose a nice peripheral like a wireless controller, or such. No matter what, he'll love that.

Definitely, if he's a gamer. My anniversary's next week and I asked for an iPod. Nothing wrong with electronics as an expression of love...

To be honest, if he's a big enough nerd (like I am) to appreciate halo 3, there's a pretty big chance he's already got a pre-order in :P
If he enjoyed the first 2 he will more than likely (99% chance) love the gift.

Has he played the other halo games?
if yes you should buy him it,
if not, to be honest id recommend getting him something different
i think halo 3 might be a big letdown,
even thought its looking ok so far :)
