Puts up monster numbers in the regular season and wins the MVP but chokes up in the playoffs

Been playing on of the top 5 teams in the league every year for the past 4 years but just can't find a way to push thru to win it all...

Matty...this is not about being liked/disliked although I have to agree with you on that but thats irrelevant to this question

this question is about being in favorable position to win games while playing for superior teams but ends up choking in the playoffs...

Mario...Kobe hasn't been on a superior team in the past 4 years or neither has been in favorable positions to win it all like A-rod has been

His career postseason numbers are .280/.362/.485. Not as good as the regular season, but still better than most.

He stunk in the last two playoff series, but it's funny how some people discount his performance before 2005, like hitting .371 in the playoffs in 2000 or .421 in the 2004 divisional series against Minnesota.

And last time I looked, baseball championships are won by teams, not individual players. If you measure guys by "rings," then Johnny Murphy and Vic Raschi should be in the Hall of Fame.

Nowitzki is a great ball player but in no way should he be compared to AROD who will end up being one of the Top 5 greatest players to ever play the game of baseball.

Interesting. I would go with Kobe before anyone. Hands down the greatest athlete on the field but almost everyone seems to dislike him.

yea you're right.......there was such high expectations for dirk going into the postseason, but he didn't play well at all
