Have you used some canned air to blow it out?

I have an hp and this has happen to me. This problem is almost impossible to fix, depending on how much the carriage is jammed. Do you have small printer equipment, like a small screw driver, pliers etc. Try pulling the carriage out with pliers or some other equipment. Try turning your machine on and off to get the jam to move. Try leverage to get the jam out. Good Luck.

Sorry to hear that. The office jet is famous for that and your problem is the little plastic gear on the left side of the printer that moves the cartridge harness. I used to save those parts so i woud try a computer store or a printer repair shop. But if it cost more than $50 I would go buy a new printer for $100. gl
