Mine was toilet paper rolls. I stored them in the garage and asked everyone if they could save them and give them to me. I had about 3000 of them before the dog got into them. I think I was like 8 years old.

The snow at the back of our house was very hard and I went out with a brown paper bag to collect all the brown marbles that were rolling on it. It wasn`t until I was in the house for a few hours and the marbles softened that I realized that I had been collecting rabbit droppings!

That IS weird!! I collected silly things like dog figurines and comic books but only Katy Keene. Later it was the blue "Dole" stickers off bananas. There was a point system for the different countries. I have about 30 fruit and vegetable stickers on my window frame right now including Dole. My kids once collected the rings off gallon milk jugs. They hung them on the ears of a large bunny figurine in the kitchen.

The only thing I ever collected was rocks. Lol. I'm also a pac-rat, once I get something, it'sd like I can never give it up, unless it's really really really old or I don't like it. I also have A LOT of belts. But I don't collect them.

Cool question! Hmm, let's see: Dead bugs (like cool looking butterflies and beetles), interesting rocks and twigs, bits of animal fur that I'd find on bushes in the woods, all kinds of feathers, bits of unusually colored glass (not the green and brown that's most common). I still pick up weird stuff that catches my eye walking around or on a hike.

My brother and I collected farts...yes...I know, how gross can you get.!? We thought if we collected enough of them we could make the jar explode if we lit it! It didn't work. We grew up in the 70's and did not have a lot of money for toys like normal kids! I am also a big time TOM BOY!

Little frogs. I know, totally gross! I would collect them in a bucket and try to keep them in the backyard as pets, every night my mom would go outside after I went to bed and set them free.

My brother used to collect beverage cans for a while.
I have only collected stickers. Although many kids used to collect it by those times, it sounds a bit weird collection nowadays to me.
