Is this safe? I took probably 2 caplets - not everyday, but maybe every other day before I knew I was pregnant. Should I stop taking now? I don't have my first Dr. appointment for a few weeks.

Tylenol is safe during pregnancy. You need to avoid regular aspirin and ibuprofin (Advil).

Don't worry about it. The baby will be ok. You can't change what you did. And Tylenol is safe when you are pregnant. But you should take regular Tylenol instead of Extra-strength or just take one extra-strength.

I had the same similar situation. I would switch to regular strength Tylenol if you have to take something. That is most likely what the Dr. will tell you to take. Before being pregnant, RS Tylenol wouldn't have put a dent in any headache I had, but after, they worked fine. Strange, but it was sort of like my body knew it wasn't going to get anything better!

My doctor told me that Tylenol, regular or Extra Strength, was the only thing that you should take when you are pregnant. So I think you should be alright. If you still have any ?s, you need to contact your doc.

that's OK. Tylenol is what is recommended during pregnancy and when i was pregnant i used the extra strength tylenol and the doctor said that was fine. i get migraines so he even told me i can take excedrine! not recommending that but just showing you that i'm sure its fine! congratulations!

That is perfectly fine. Tylenol is actually the only headache medication recomended!! Stay away from IBprophen and asprin! Your doctor should give you a list of things ok to take for different symptoms-mine did and it's like my bible!!

No tylenol is just fine. They reccomend you take it while pregnant.
My doctor actually told me when I was getting headaches to take it around the clock to prevent them from happening. That way I had a build up in my system and the headaches wouldn't happen at all.

Tylenol is generally safe but you should still wait until the doc gives you the ok. I don't think it's advisable to take Extra Strength though, so if you're hurting too much to deal with it, take regular Tylenol. NO ASPIRIN though.

Tylenol is very safe and you shouldn't have any problems with taking it every once in a while. If you are still anxious, mention it to your doctor when you see him. Congrats on the new baby!!
