I am at my friends house and my boyfriend is driving his daughter home an 1 1/2 hour drive away. He called and his battery is dead, my friend offers to pick him up and bring him here. ( my car is in the shop today)
I just recieved a call from HIM on her cell phone telling me that they are driving all the way to take his daughter back. This means that they will be in the car together the whole way back. I am not okay with this and I told him. He is going anyway.
Am I over reacting? I am furious!

Read it again. Some of you are answering without reading...my friend is not the mother of his child and My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 years with three kids. We agreed never to give the hint of anything inappropriate....and this is one of them.
My friend is going thru a divorce but is still married.
Lastly, my boyfriends ex can pick up her daughter later in th evening... she didn't have to go home this early.

sounds like you have trust issues with this guy and.. you are a control freak.
So... if you don't trust this guy.. break up with him.
then.. see someone about your control issues.

I see no reason for you to be upset. His mission was to take his daughter home, and he was already partway there. If they came right back to you, the daughter would still need a ride home, and you can't offer any help since your car is in the shop.
Your friend is being really nice by going so far out of her way to help you (by helping your boyfriend and his daughter). You should be thankful, and not jump to jealousy and suspicion - what do you think they are going to do, have sex while driving down the freeway?? If you can't trust your boyfriend out of your sight, then you don't really love him and your relationship is weak.
Call your boyfriend back and apologize, and be sure to thank your friend for going out of her way.

you may be over reacting a little. Shes your friend right? what are they going to do in the car thats so bad? maybe if they had history together thats one thing, but if you were so worried why didnt you go with her to pick him up. He has other responsibilities to his daughter too.

do they seem like they're interested in each other? L2 control your jealousy issues. just because they're in a car alone together doesnt mean anythings going on. try to put a little faith into both your relationship with your man and your friend. it would be different if they went to a movie alone together, but shes just trying to help him out.

This relationship isnt going to last anyway, so don't worry about it, get out while you can.

its all about trust. do you trust him? ur friend? if you don't then you have a bad issue going on. i think that ur just over reacting. they may be talking about you or something. if u don't like it ask him what they talked about in the vechile. he should hide anything from you.

Sounds like a trust issue.
If you cant trust him with you friend.
Can you trust him at his Work, School, going to Wal Mart
If you cant or trust him - i dont think this relationship will last.

unless either of them have given you a reason to not trust them, then i would say you're way over-reacting. if you don't trust him, then there is no reason to be together!
