Yes because Daunte Culpepper is an injury-prone player and might get injured around midseason where the Raiders will need him. But his greedy a$$ wont sign

I certainly hope not. I hate to see the Raiders waste a #1 draft pick, but it's better than bankrupting the franchise on a big bust.

raiders fans were saying he was gonna sign this week. well, get on with it already. it's thursday! if russell is smart, he'll sign by mid season. otherwise he'll actually lose money because his stock value will decrease. his value actually decreases by every game he misses.

If it goes that long, he's stupid. His stock will drop if he is trying to get drafted next year as B. Brohm will be the top pick. Also, even as a free agent, Oakland may try to get the NFL to force compensation picks from the team that signs him.l
