I just found out my radiator needs to be replaced for my Mitsu Galant 2001 due to coolant leaking. Do auto parts stores sell radiators (I saw some on eBay) and can I replace it myself?

Thanks

You'd be an fool to remove and fix that radiator. New ones only run about $100 and a fixed one would still be an old, clogged decaying radiator ready to fail. There are a lot of radiator shops that will sell you one, but that car is a real bear to do if you haven't done one before.

Try 1-800-Radiators. They sell new radiators and are very cheap but not in quality. Depending where the leak is coming from, it can be repaired but most new cars has plastic end tanks and if that is where the leak is coming from then it's not worth it.

Why don't you take your car to a radiator repair shop? They can take out the old one, fix the leak, and save you quite a bit of money.
