I'm Wondering if i could some how scan bunch of news paper here in my country and sell it Online.. But is it Legal? Im in the philippines.

here is the thing here... Some of my fellow friends abroad asking if i could send them NEWS paper scan from the local NEWS here in the philippines. because some local news paper here in the philippines doesn't give online information about their news..

No you would be violating copyright laws. It would be the same as making a copy of software and putting it on the web for anyone to use.

The funny thing here is that most news stories appear on the web any way. They are published there mostly by the AP.
However taking their story and reselling them would get you in trouble.

I suppose that you could enter into a contract with the AP to republish their news stories.

Should be legal, information in the newspaper is free and open to the public. What are you going to sell? Just make sure you give credit to the newspaper and writer, or that is illegal.

No. It's copyright infringement. Since you live in a territory of the U.S., the feds would come after you.

Posting is one thing, selling is another. Why would you think you should get paid for someone else's work? Write your own stories. It's not as easy as you think.
